The crowdfunding platform Snowdrift.coop is all about supporting public goods and aims to tackle the so-called "Snowdrift Dilemma", earning it the overall snow-themed style. It is set up as a strongly value driven project and appeals to human emotions and morals but also deals with one of the most serious of topics: money.
The element of the 3° snow slope captures the theme and serves as a reminder that the project is about a constant uphill battle.
The palette follows the theme and leans on White and shades of Blue, adding green as the underlying positive impulse. Gold and Red remain accent colors reserved for most critical interactions:
Nunito (SIL) was chosen as the main font for its qualities combining a smooth, warm feeling with a clean, trustworthy and modern impression.
Another recurring element throughout the brand is a softened cap, which can be found in the logo symbol, the logo type, buttons and even is part of every letter in the house font.
The main logotype is based on League Spartan which does not feature any soft caps originally.
